Thermal process control
Thermal process control, characterized by its slow nature and inherent delays, presents a significant challenge for control engineers across various industries.
The system being presented has the capability to simulate a basic thermal process utilizing a blower and an electrical heater. In this setup, air is drawn into the pipe via the blower and then passes through an electrical heater. Three high-speed temperature sensors are strategically placed at the pipe’s entrance, midpoint, and endpoint. Users can explore the performance of various types of control circuits and assess the impact of delays on system stability.
